Recent Permit Applications
GP Gypsum (on Front St) has requested several changes to their permits. DEP has sent out a note saying that copies of the applications are at the Ferry Ave. Library. I'm going to try on Tuesday to take a look at them. But, my experience has been that the Library has trouble keeping track of these materials. They like to say that no one ever asks for them, so why bother?

Note that many of DEP's permit actions are advertised in the bi-monthly DEP Bulletin. While the complete permit is not published here, you can view info about new or revised permits for many regulated programs including a summary of the action and a DEP contact person for permits that are still open for public comment. Copies of these publications are posted at:

Also, DEP's Data Miner site provides some info about pending permits. Go to
http://www.nj.gov/dep/opra/online.html, search for the site, select the site of interest, and for each program (Air, Water...) you can view 'pending permit progress'.
